Grove Hill Memorial Hospital Cardio-Respiratory Therapy

The Cardio-Respiratory Therapy department provides cardiac and respiratory therapy diagnostic and therapeutic services to both in-patient and out-patient populations to our community and surrounding areas. Quality, conscientious, cost-effective, and competent care with respect for life and dignity at every stage of the human experience is offered to all ages from newborn to geriatric.

Our hours of operation are currently Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM. On call services are available after hours and weekends.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

Administration of medical gases, exclusive of general anesthesia
Aerosol / Humidification Therapy
Administration of pharmacological agents related to respiratory therapy procedures
Mechanical / Physiological ventilatory support
Bronchopulmonary hygiene
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Maintenance of natural / artificial airways 
Collection / Analysis of blood, gases, and respiratory secretions
Measurements of ventilatory volumes, pressures, and flows
Hemodynamic and related physiological measurements of the cardiopulmonary systems
Respiratory telecommunications
 Cardiopulmonary disease management
Tobacco cessation
